What happened

A Grenadian delegation led by Permanent Secretary Peron Johnson travelled to Morocco for a renewable-energy learning mission scheduled for 28 September–2 October 2026, according to the ministry’s announcement.

The Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy hosted the visit. The programme covered policy, planning, project development and finance, alongside practical experience with energy infrastructure.

Why it matters

Building energy projects involves more than choosing equipment. Expertise, workable plans and access to finance are also part of the task. The mission’s stated programme addresses those requirements.

What remains to be shown

The announcement describes a learning visit. It does not establish a newly funded Grenadian project, a construction timetable or a reduction in electricity bills. Those outcomes need their own evidence.
