The month ahead

Grenada’s Ministry of Education and Child Month Committee have announced activities for 1–31 October 2026, centred on children’s health, safety and shared responsibility.

The ministry’s 29 September announcement lists street marches during 12–16 October, Child Sabbath and Child Sunday on 17–18 October, and a blanket evening/bonfire at Pearls Playing Field on 22 October.

Beyond the events

The stated focus includes nutrition, technology use, parental involvement and protecting children. Schools, churches and daycare centres are encouraged to organise activities with children and parents.
